River Indie, the SUV of Scooters debuts at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025

Bengaluru, 17 January 2025: River, the Bengaluru-based electric scooter manufacturer, makes its debut at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The company is showcasing Indie, for the first time at the Expo. The event is taking place from January 17th to 22nd, 2025, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi - 110001. Visitors can experience the Indie at Stall Number C 81 in Hall 2, First Floor.

Indie, first launched in 2023 introduces many segment-first features. The front Foot-Pegs and 14-inch wheels offer great rideability and maneuverability across all road conditions. The Lock&Load Pannier Mounts allow an array of customisations. Indie features a lockable storage of 55 litres, with 12 litres in the glovebox and 43 litres underseat storage. Additionally, the scooter has accessories that help elevate its utility. It offers three ride modes; Eco, Ride and Rush, and a range of 110 km on a single charge. Priced at INR 1,42,999 (ex-showroom Bengaluru), the Indie is available in five colours—Winter White, Storm Grey, Monsoon Blue, Summer Red, and Spring Yellow. 

River is rapidly expanding across India. Currently, the company operates in 11 stores across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Hubli, Visakhapatnam, Kochi, Coimbatore and Mysore. By March 2025, the network will grow to 25 stores nationwide. At the Expo, visitors can explore the Indie, meet the team behind the SUV of scooters and get a chance to grab exclusive River goodies.
