River crosses 35-store landmark with first Indore outlet

Indore, 09th October 2025: Electric scooter manufacturer, River, has opened its first store in Indore, marking its debut in Madhya Pradesh. Launched in partnership with Seth Agro Industries, the store offers customers the chance to experience River’s flagship electric scooter Indie, alongside a thoughtfully designed range of exclusive accessories and lifestyle merchandise. Covering 1500 sq. ft., the store is complemented by a full-service facility located nearby to ensure seamless after-sales support.

The outlet reflects River’s design ethos, with interiors that take inspiration from natural elements like pebbles and flowing lines. The space is crafted to create an immersive experience that captures River’s philosophy—bringing together style, practicality, and the rhythm of everyday life. 

Speaking about the store launch, Aravind Mani, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, River shared, “We have remained focused on expanding into high-growth markets, and Madhya Pradesh plays a key role in that journey. Launching in Indore marks another milestone for River as we continue to strengthen our national retail footprint following our recent entry into North India with the Delhi store. Indore’s strong economic growth and rising demand for electric mobility make it a strategic addition to River’s expansion, reinforcing our commitment to building a robust presence across India.”

River now has 35 operational stores across India, with a presence in key cities including Bengaluru, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Coimbatore, Hubli, and Patna. The Indore launch comes close on the heels of River’s entry into Delhi, with upcoming expansions planned in Rajasthan, Punjab and Gujarat and other key markets as part of its broader growth strategy. 

Strengthening its promise of reliability, River also rolled out an extended 8-year / 80,000-km warranty on the battery and motor recently.
