Bengaluru-based River, Strengthens State Presence with Mysuru Launch

Mysuru, 09 January 2025: Bengaluru-based electric scooter manufacturer, River, has strengthened its presence in its home state. The company has launched its store in Mysuru in partnership with BUDDYS AUTOMOTIVE PRIVATE LIMITED dealership. The River store was inaugurated by Shri. Vishnuvardhana.N, IPS, The Superintendent of Police (SP) of Mysuru District. Spanning 1800 sq. ft., the store offers an immersive experience to customers. It showcases all of River’s offerings including the Indie, accessories, and exclusive merchandise.

River launched its first ever store in Bengaluru last year. Since then, the company has grown its network in Bengaluru and launched in Hubli. Following Mysuru, River plans to open stores in Belgaum, Tumkur, Mangalore, Hassan and Bijapur. The company currently operates in 10 outlets across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Hubli, Visakhapatnam, Kochi and Coimbatore. River will expand its footprint to Tirupati, Ahmedabad, Pune, Nagpur and Delhi in the next few months. By March 2025, the company plans to open 25 stores across India. 

The Indie is priced at INR ₹1,46,599 (ex-showroom, Mysuru). Customers can visit the store for test rides, browse merchandise, or book an Indie. They can also book test rides or make purchases online at www.rideriver.com. 

The River Store Saraswathipuram has a vibrant atmosphere. It is designed to showcase the brand’s aesthetics that incorporate ‘flow lines’, pebbles and other organic shapes that evoke the essence of rivers. At the core of the store’s aesthetics is a carefully designed habitat that depicts how Indie blends into daily life. The narrative aligns with River's ethos, taking people from where they are to where they want to be.
